Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join our team in our Brisbane office. The role will be offered as a 12-month fixed term contract, with an immediate start available.
About the role
Register project documentation from internal and external sources by promptly and accurately recording details in the relevant Document Management Systems.
Provide general document control support to project teams, including responding to document numbering/revisioning queries, locating data and DMS trouble shooting.
Demonstrated understanding of document control principles, best practices, standards, and procedures.
Strong time-management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and adapt to shifting priorities.
Ability to build positive and effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
About you
Previous experience within a document control position with engineering sector would be an advantage, 2-3 years in a similar role.
Prior use of Document Management Systems including SmartPlant SDx, SharePoint, Aconex and InEight would be an advantage.
Vendor data management experience.
Excellent time management skills and high attention to detail.
Able to communicate at all levels and be part of a team.
