Job Description
We’re looking for a customer-facing eCommerce Bookkeeper who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you have a background in bookkeeping for eCommerce businesses and experience working with multiple financial systems, this role is an opportunity to apply that expertise in a unique way. Please note that this is a position requires working out of our office in Bangalore with the ability to work from home up to 2 days a week over time.
Rather than managing books directly, you’ll help merchants using Fulfil optimize their bookkeeping processes, troubleshoot reconciliation challenges, and ensure they are set up for financial accuracy and efficiency. You’ll work closely with eCommerce brands, guiding them in best practices for integrating platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal, and other financial tools within Fulfil.

Shifts & Compensation
Base Compensation: ₹20 LPA
Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST (North American overlap)
Location: 5 days a week from our Bellandur Office in Bangalore
What You’ll Do:
Assist merchants in understanding and optimizing their bookkeeping processes within Fulfil, ensuring accurate reporting and financial clarity.
Guide merchants on effective reconciliation practices between Fulfil, their accounting software, and sales channels like Shopify and Amazon.
Help troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies, working with customers to ensure they can confidently track COGS, revenue, and multi-channel transactions.
Provide insights on sales tax compliance and multi-currency transactions, helping merchants navigate financial complexities.
Work closely with internal teams, including Implementation and Support, to ensure merchants get the most out of Fulfil’s financial capabilities.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and educate merchants on how to leverage Fulfil’s features for better financial visibility
We’re looking for someone with:
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in eCommerce or working with multiple clients at a bookkeeping/accounting firm.
Strong understanding of eCommerce financial operations, including revenue recognition, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory valuation.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Traditional ERPs, Shopify, Amazon, and financial reconciliation practices.
Familiarity with sales tax compliance across multiple states/provinces and multi-currency transactions.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills—you can break down complex financial topics and guide merchants effectively.
Experience working with fast-paced, high-growth businesses that require adaptability and efficiency.
