Founded and operated by experienced sports video games industry veterans, Operation Sports has long been considered the premier destination for the hardcore sports gamer. Now, we’re looking to add a talented Assigning Editor with a passion for sports games to our editorial team.
As an Assigning Editor, you will have an excellent grasp of the sports video games market and proven experience in writing, editing, or management roles within journalism or other content-focused roles. This is a leadership position, working alongside Operations Sports’ other editors, where you will manage, engage with, and develop the site's contributors, handling pitches and assignments while ensuring high-quality articles are being published.
Location and flexible working:
This is a fully remote position open to applicants from anywhere in the world, but we’re particularly interested in hearing from candidates available to work during the Eastern, Central, or Pacific time zones.
The ideal candidate will be open to permanent, full-time work, but we are willing to discuss part-time, freelance, and fixed-term contract options for the right applicant.
