Job Description
Hybrid role: primarily remote; requires 1–2 onsite days per week for provider sessions as needed. Houston local candidates preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide expertise and leadership in coordinating assigned Epic application(s).
• Analyze business operations and collaborate with subject matter experts to tailor the EHR system to organizational needs.
• Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection processes, reporting structures, and technical components within the EHR system.
• Support Epic Ambulatory clinical documentation workflows, including configuration of note templates.
• Assist with onboarding and supporting approximately 650 providers using Epic Ambient Listening.
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to EHR usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and workflow issues.
• Support documentation, workflow configuration, and issue tracking through ticketing systems.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and supporting special projects related to EHR enhancements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Epic software implementation, support, or business systems process analysis/design.
• Experience supporting Epic Ambulatory clinical documentation workflows.
• Experience with documentation support, note templates, and workflow configuration.
• Ability to analyze workflows and provide technical solutions within EHR systems.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and supporting end users.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience configuring Epic Ambulatory clinical documentation, including note templates.
• Familiarity with supporting outpatient clinical workflows.
• Experience with build/configuration of Epic Ambient Listening integration and onboarding providers.
• Experience with inpatient documentation systems.
• Experience supporting large-scale provider onboarding initiatives.
CERTIFICATIONS: Epic Ambulatory Certification required.
