Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Employment Law Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate must be barred in either California or New York and possess a strong background in employment law. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse employment law matters, providing legal counsel to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert legal advice and representation on a variety of employment law issues including, but not limited to, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in employment litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies that minimize legal risks and ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Assist in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
• Participate in client consultations, providing clear and practical legal guidance.
• Prepare and deliver training sessions and presentations on employment law topics for clients and colleagues.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases and projects.

Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in California or New York.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience representing clients in employment litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Background in handling class action lawsuits related to employment law.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
