To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will come from a global mobility, employment tax, payroll, or reward background, with a solid understanding of related compliance matters. Previous experience undertaking employment tax advisory work would be beneficial. Candidates should have experience and breadth of knowledge across UK domestic employment tax. This should encompass a detailed knowledge of the tax implications of expenses and benefits, termination payments, salary sacrifice and employment status and IR35. Knowledge of global mobility matters, CIS, CJRS or NMW would be advantageous.
What would you be doing?
• Drafting tax advice for review by senior team members
• Supporting our transaction tax team on due diligence projects, in relation to employment tax matters, including the preparation of tax due diligence reports
• Supporting clients through HMRC compliance checks and enquiries
• Preparation of voluntary disclosures for submission to HMRC
• Scoping and costing new projects
• Build relationships across the wider K3 group to improve awareness of the employment tax support that can be provided to the business and our clients.
You’ll be;
• Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or ACA/ ACCA qualified - ideally with at least 2 years PQE OR 'Qualified by Experience' (we would also be happy to consider those who are midway through their studies, but who are keen to qualify)
• Bringing Employment Tax experience and specialist knowledge to the table
• Either an existing Manager or looking to take the step up

We have a remote-first culture, and our team are located across the UK, working mostly from home with occasional travel when required to meet client needs. We meet several times a year at whole-team offsite events to keep in touch with one another and develop strategy together. We believe in trusting our people to understand how they work best and to manage their own time, travel, and workloads.
