Enable New Zealand is a Crown-owned entity on a mission; to support disabled people and their whānau to live everyday lives in their communities. We do this by effectively managing access to equipment, modifications and information services for disabled people and their whānau on behalf of Disability Support Services (DSS) – Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
With our head office centrally located in Palmerston North, we deliver services to thousands of New Zealanders each year as Aotearoa's largest disability equipment provider.

We have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced Engagement and Partnerships Advisor to join our small but busy, Communications and Engagement team.
The Engagement and Partnerships Advisor role is key for the development of our national disability information and advice website, Firstport. You’ll work with key organisations across Aotearoa to engage and partner to drive better outcomes for our disability community.
Through creativity, passion and outcome-focus, this role is essential in helping us deliver on our vision for our customers of a non-disabling Aotearoa. While an understanding of Government disability funding models and the Enabling Good Lives framework would be an advantage, it is not essential.
Ngā mahi haepapa | Role responsibilities
Driving engagement with the Firstport website
Developing our website content and digital engagement channels
Reporting, monitoring, advertising and insight delivery
Work across the organisation and with key external stakeholders to nurture strategic partnerships
Developing a strong Firstport brand through campaigns and community engagement.
