To provide diverse administrative support for a range of networking events, training courses, projects, and the Society's mentoring programme for early career Research Fellows.

Location: Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG plus hybrid remote working
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

To assist with the day-to-day management of career development and engagement activities and provide high quality administrative support to enable delivery of a diverse range of events, training and other career development opportunities, with a particular emphasis on the regional networking event programme
To maintain databases and systems relevant to career development and engagement activities – namely, the Royal Society’s CRM, the research fellow’s portal and marketing automation systems, Power BI and others (training will be provided).
To support the other Engagement Officer in matching research fellows with appropriate mentors through the Society’s mentoring programme, monitoring feedback and disseminating mentoring guidance to ensure it remains useful and appropriate to needs
To work closely with the Engagement Managers and other colleagues to help plan, promote and administer engagement events (both online and in person) encompassing conferences, workshops, webinars, induction days and regional networking meetings.
To liaise with internal and external service providers, prepare and disseminate written materials and briefings
To liaise with speakers, administer registration and attendance, process invoices and claims, collate feedback, and maintain events equipment and collateral.
To work closely with others across the Section to coordinate visits and support other ad hoc engagement opportunities
