Job Description
Job Accountabilities:
Experience on Backup Technologies i.e. Dell EMC Networker or Avamar (optional NetBackup.)
Should have basic knowledge and experience to manage the online backup modules such as Oracle, MSSQL, SAP, NDMP etc.
Intermediate level of knowledge on Infrastructure such as Unix, Database, Windows
Should have good understanding of ITIL - Incident , Problem and Change Management
Responsible for handling day-to-day issues related to the Backup Servers assigned.
Responsible to update the assigned incidents with right resolutions as performed on the cases
Should escalate the cases which requires intervention by other teams
Communication to the requestors on their cases in timely manner
Should collaborate with-in team and Technical Consultants to discuss the pending cases to arrive at resolutions
Should flash high-risk cases to the Leads so that relevant MIMP cycle to be initiated.
Should have exposure to manage Heterogeneous Environment, Approximately should have handled 10+ Servers and 15000+ Clients
Should have good communication skills both Verbal and Writing
