Position: QTS English Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: SM6
School Type: State Boys’ Grammar School
Contract Type: Part-Time (3 days a week)
Start Date: January 2026
Experience: Previous experience working in secondary schools is required. ECT teachers are welcome to apply
Qualifications: PGCE in Secondary Education, QTS & ECT. Candidates with a strong background in English are welcome to apply.
This role requires an experienced English teacher to onboard with us at Principal Education to work at an Ofsted rated Outstanding boys’ state grammar school based in Wallington.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students.
• Plan and Prepare Lessons: Develop lesson plans and educational materials.
• Support and Assess: Assist students with their learning and monitor their progress.
Requirements:
• Expeirence of working in secondary schools is preferred.
• Professional Development: Access training and resources to enhance your teaching skills.
• QTS status is preffered but not essential.
