Job description, work day and responsibilities
As an Enrolment Officer, your key responsibilities include:
Triaging all hub phone calls and walk-ins to ensure prompt and efficient handling of their enquiry working towards increase of employer and student satisfaction
Confidently handling future student and employer leads via telephone, email, face-to-face and social media to optimise enrolments
Delivering focused efforts to convert initial EPSILON / enquiry through to enrolment
Providing accurate program advice to prospective students in line with their goals to ensure student satisfaction
Conducting enrolment interviews as a secondary component to the role undertaking suitability and pre-training review assessments to ensure student meets course requirements
Completing pre-training review interview with student to ensure suitability for enrolment into the course
Undertaking eligibility assessment and confirm student’s eligibility status in accordance with the VET funding contract.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with previous experience in the vocational education sector, general knowledge of education and/or admissions and recruitment including experience in a face to face or phone based environment. Your understanding of nurture marketing and student recruitment lifecycles, a working knowledge of VET funding contract and eligibility requirements coupled with experience in dealing with non-native English speakers from diverse backgrounds will be crucial to your success. CRM experience will be highly regarded.
Qualifications required for the role
Certificate III in Business or Business Administration, or equivalent experience within a related field.
