Here at Chessington World of Adventures our 2026 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for a Lead Performer to join the team!
As the Lead Performer, you will ensure operational excellence and maintain high entertainment standards. You will oversee a team of performers, manage daily operations, and serve as the key point of contact for performance and guest-related concerns.
This role involves acting as the Entertainment Duty Manager, providing briefings, coordinating teams, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and addressing operational issues. You will work closely with the Entertainments Specialist to maintain top performance standards across the department.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a performance role, preferably within a theme park or similar environment.
Strong focus on teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding and supporting colleagues with a hands-on approach.
Leadership experience is beneficial but not required; role focuses on being a dependable team player.
Ability to lead by example and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility, open to adjusting priorities and taking on ad hoc responsibilities.
Willing to support the business with alternative shifts or varying working hours as required.
