Equity Derivatives Salesperson marketing Flow and Solutions products to Institutional and Distribution clients.
Solutions trades are built on robust quantitative foundations. The Solutions Salesperson will play a critical role in the design, modelling and implementation of structured and bespoke solutions. Responsibilities will involve applying advanced numerical and analytical techniques to assess performance, risk, and suitability across a broad range of transaction structures.
What you'll be doing
Performing quantitative analysis to assess the performance, risk characteristics and suitability of structured products and bespoke solutions
Managing existing relationships with Structured Product Distributors in Australia and unlock additional business with new distributors.
Assisting in the management and development of our Equity Derivative flow business among the Australian a client base delivering market intelligence, economist content and trade ideas, with a focus on the Institutional space.
Assisting in the management and development of our Cross-Asset class Solutions business across both Distribution and Institutional client base, developing a deep understanding of the local market, regulatory and operational landscape.
Contributing actively to the product and solutions development for the above client base. In particular collaborate with Structuring, Trading and Research teams to provide customized cross asset solutions and create a relevant product offering for the client base.
Strengthening our position and visibility with Institutional client base in Australia unlocking new revenue streams with a focus on asset owners and asset managers.
Growing Equity Derivatives revenue in Australia and New Zealand in line with targets.
Ensure proper control on various risk aspects ﴾operational, reputational, counterparty… of client business.
Work in line with all compliance, legal and bank guidelines, policies and framework.
Leverage and manage the relationship with Business Partners, and key stakeholders such as Coverage, GBLs, BNPP IP, BP2S with a view to expand the Client Franchise and to maximize Global Markets business in Australia
Contributing to the Permanent Control framework
What is required for you to succeed?
A minimum of 3 years marketing financial products to institutional investors
Knowledge of derivatives & structured products
A track record in managing a portfolio of clients and achieving sales budgets
Knowledge and understanding of derivative products across different asset classes including equity
Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience required
