Job Overview

This individual will oversee the planning, logistics, execution, and post-event follow-up of all fundraising and awareness events. They will lead the established Event Board and manage volunteer teams to execute impactful, mission-aligned events that raise funds and awareness to help make TDP fully funded year-round.

Essential Duties

Event Planning & Execution:

Collaborate with leadership to bring the vision of each event to life, ensuring all logistical details are planned and executed flawlessly.
Plan and manage all logistical aspects of quarterly major events and benefit events.
Coordinate with the Donor Developer & Funding Coordinator and Event Board to ensure seamless event execution.
Develop, recommend, and oversee event budgets, schedules, and marketing strategies.
Community Relationships:

Research, vet, and contract with high-value vendors and service providers.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with other compatible organizations and businesses.
Foster meaningful connections with event attendees, encouraging them to become more engaged in the mission of The Demand Project.
Creative & Operational Oversight:

Understand and communicate the mission of The Demand Project to inspire event attendees and create experiences that deepen their connection to the cause.
Conceive innovative event themes and interactive human trafficking experiences to achieve organizational goals.
Oversee event venues, catering functions, meeting spaces, and related services.
Team Coordination:

Recruit, organize, and lead volunteer teams, ensuring all roles are filled and responsibilities are clear.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring all team members understand their roles and can execute with excellence.
Lead and manage event-day staff and volunteers.
Train and mentor volunteers and team members to support event goals.
Administrative Functions:

Develop systems, structures, and documentation to streamline event processes and create scalable models for use in other locations.
Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and resources to maximize impact while minimizing costs.
Utilize event planning platforms to track budgets, timelines, and guest lists.
Manage vendor payments, inventory, and procurement processes.
Conduct post-event evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
Track event success metrics and provide post-event reports to leadership for future improvement.
