Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team. The primary duties would include recording all transactions, reconciling accounts, recording day-to-day transactions, maintaining cash book, etc. Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter and should have prior experience in accounting roles.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
•Managing payroll
•Completing bank reconciliations
•Entering financial information into tally software
•Managing company ledgers
•Processing business expenses
•Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
•Verifying bank deposits
•Managing day-to-day transactions and Payroll
•Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget
•Assisting the Company accountant
•Handling accruals and prepayments
•Managing monthly budgeting tasks
•Encoding accounting entries for data processing
•Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts
Requirements
−Proven work experience in a relevant role
−Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
−Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
