Executive – Agricultural Operations
Location: Assam (with frequent travel to project locations)

• Support farmers in increasing their livelihood by growing aroma crops.
• Provide agricultural and distillation support to small producers and agripreneurs.
• Leverage technology to drive sustainability, traceability, and quality in essential oil supply chains.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Farmer Support & Extension
• Work closely with farmers, small producers, and agripreneurs to provide agricultural guidance, input recommendations, and best farming practices.
• Conduct farmer extension activities, training programs, and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve yield and quality.
• Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
• Coordinate with organizations like CIMAP (Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) and NEIST (North East Institute of Science and Technology) on research and development projects.
• Collaborate with government bodies, agricultural institutions, and NGOs to enhance agricultural support programs.
• Agricultural & Distillation Support
• Guide farmers and distillers on efficient harvesting, post-harvest handling, and distillation techniques to improve essential oil quality.
• Monitor and support field-level operations to ensure adherence to sustainable farming and distillation methods.
• Technology & Data Management
• Maintain and update the company’s tech platform to capture cultivation, distillation, and supply chain data.
• Work with the agronomy and operations teams to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
• Develop insights from data to improve operational efficiency and supply chain transparency.
• R&D and Product Development Support
• Work closely with the R&D team to support new product development initiatives.
• Assist in trials and testing of new crops and distillation processes for improving essential oil quality.
Requirements
• Graduate in agriculture, agribusiness, rural development, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in agritech operations, farm advisory, or rural development.
• Strong ability to engage with diverse stakeholders—farmers, government bodies, research institutions, and agribusinesses.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Assam and other project locations in North-East India.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in data entry, and Excel-based reporting.
