About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to join our high‑performing Sydney M&A team. We are open to candidates seeking either a permanent position or a six‑month fixed‑term contract. In this role, you will work closely with the Practice Group Leader of M&A/Capital Markets (Sydney), as well as a broader group of fee earners, where your strong organisational skills and proactive approach will be highly valued and make a meaningful impact.

You’ll be the go-to person for coordination and support, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client service. This role calls for a confident professional with strong judgment, discretion, and a collaborative mindset.


Key Responsibilities


Comprehensive diary and travel management
Coordinating confidential communications
Event planning and logistics
Client liaison and relationship support
File management, including opening/closing matters and electronic filing
Monthly billing, client reporting, and invoicing
AMEX reconciliation
Printing, filing, and general administrative support
Additional tasks as required

Strong understanding of MS Office applications
Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with confidence engaging at all levels
Experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities
