This position has a term length of 2 years.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at Enterprise Square.

Reporting to the Senior Lead, Executive Education, the Program Advisor provides expertise in developing and delivering Executive Education programming in the Alberta School of Business. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and growing business with current and new clients in addition to being the main point of contact for all clients and program instructors. This role is responsible for all activities related to the end-to-end program in accordance with best practices and in alignment with the vision of the Alberta School of Business, Executive Education and the University of Alberta.

This position is accountable for decision-making in the areas of relationship management, program management, and problem solving. The Advisor requires exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to be able to administer and execute those decisions with the ability to effectively alternate between thinking strategically and executing at a high quality.

Relationship Management – 30%

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, instructors, and internal partners across all stages of program delivery.
Act as the primary contact for clients, helping define program scope, format, timelines, budgets, and service expectations.
Support contracts, invoicing, billing coordination, and financial reporting in collaboration with the supervisor and finance team.
Represent Executive Education at networking events, conferences, and partner meetings.
Program Management – 50%

Coordinate the planning, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of Executive Education programs.
Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, logistics, and budgets to support successful outcomes.
Coordinate in-person and online delivery requirements, including venues, schedules, materials, instructors, guest speakers, and learner communications.
Review feedback, survey data, and program results to identify improvements and support continuous quality enhancement.
Maintain program records, templates, calendars, reporting tools, and other administrative processes required for delivery.
Use Google Workspace tools to support scheduling, shared drives, forms, reporting, and presentations.
Assist with marketing-related activities such as webpage updates, promotional materials, events, and communications.
Business Development – 20%

Identify opportunities to grow programming through client relationships, environmental scanning, and community engagement.
Support the development and execution of business development plans for custom and open-enrolment programming.
Help prepare proposals, presentations, and briefing materials for prospective and current clients.
Research partnerships, associations, and events aligned with Executive Education priorities.
Post-secondary education required; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
3-5 years of program administration and/or development experience, ideally in a post-secondary, professional education, or client-service environment.
Strong client service, relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience coordinating events or programs involving multiple stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with budgeting, reporting, and administrative processes.
Familiarity with Google Workspace and standard office software.
Knowledge of copyright and FOIPP requirements is an asset.
