Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Fixed Assets . Ensuring proper capitalisation based on GRN raised during the period . Discussing with various stakeholders to ensure that expenses are properly classified between capex and opex . Ensuring on monthly basis, depreciation run is done properly and reflected in books . Ensuring that no gap exist between system FAR and books . Closing sub-ledgers on monthly basis . Assisting in various audit of Fixed assets . Instilling the process of physical verification of fixed assets on annual basis . Keeping a control of additions in work in progress projects Month close activities . Assist in accurate and periodic on time GL closure . Monthly Manual Journals preparation / accounting . Expense Accruals and Allocation to various projects . Comparison of forecast with Actual and analyzing variances if any . Close related audit validations . Balance Sheet account reconciliations . Supporting audit requests . Providing monthly reconciliations and reports Contribution to process/reconciliation improvements
