Requirement:-
• Education: Graduate in any discipline. MSW will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in labour law compliance operations. Even part time candidates interested in Statutory & Compliance can apply
• Skills: Should be fully conversant in MS Office. Good communication skills – verbal and written (English & Kannada) required.
• Should be willing to travel (frequent local trips).
Job Purpose:-
The key objective for this position is to ensure complete labour law compliance for the group and branches, by providing a comprehensive and responsive support in applicable labour laws, including routine procedures and special projects. Will liaise with various government agencies/departments for this purpose and manage all related documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities;-
1. 'Shops & Commercial Establishments Act' – Maintain all statutory records under the applicable state Act & obtain new or amend licences as and when required.
2. Employees Provident Fund Act - Maintain all statutory records under the Act, register new employees, generate UAN, generate & submit monthly challans, forms and monthly/annual returns online vide EPFO’s Unified Portal /or to EPF office as required. Shall track and follow up on transfers and withdrawals of employees/ex-employees.
3. Employees State Insurance Act - Maintain all statutory records under the Act, register new employees, generate & submit monthly challans, forms, half yearly & annual returns online vide ESIC portal / or to ESI office as required. Shall coordinate with employees and ESIC for obtaining PID cards/linking of Aadhar number. Shall provide guidance to employees for utilising medical benefits and claiming sickness benefits.
4. Payment of Gratuity Act – File returns, track dues to eligible employees and maintain all statutory records under the Act which include coordinating with the Group Gratuity Insurance service provider.
5. Minimum Wages Act – Obtain updates & report on changes; maintain all statutory records under the Act.
6. The Payment of Bonus Act – Shall support in computing and disbursement of yearly bonus. Shall file returns and maintain all statutory records under the Act.
7. Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act: Undertake new licence registrations/renewals and maintain all statutory records under the Act
8. Undertake compliance under any other Labour Law that may be applicable to the Companies and maintaining all statutory records under the same.
+. Handling inspections and replying to notices by Labour Law related govt. departments and follow up for closure of such notices/hearings/cases.
10. Verify and ensure labour law compliance by the Company’s contractors/vendors by auditing their compliance documents.
11. Shall undertake employee welfare activities.
