Job Description
Assist Manager CMD Commercial in ensuring commercial compliances at OPCs
Job Responsibilities
Ensure smooth operations of OPCs. Coordinate & interact with internal & external stakeholders to ensure continuity of OPCs operations.
- Monitoring of commercial parameters of OPCs
- Ensure compliance to commercial manual & processes at OPCs
- Independently monitor the complete physical stock take process at the assigned OPC
- Process bills of vendors / OPCs
- Vendor and Customer balance confirmation / GST Reconciliation
- Prepare, maintain repository & ensure compliance to agreements with OPCs
- Prepare monthly reports to be circulated to hierarch
- Budget vs Actual expenses monitoring
- Be involved in process improvements or IT projects implementation.
- Handle material accounting and negotiation for RP material at Reprocessing centers (RP OPC)
Financial Scope (Range of financial spend):
Procurement of consumables, support services for OPCs (INR 10 lakhs to INR 100 lakhs)
Clear processing bills (INR 1 Cr to INR 15 CR annually per OPC)
- Propose for raising Debit Notes on OPCs (as per agreement)
Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide)
Will be responsible for handling allotted OPC for all matters
Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other):
Finance, SSC, Taxation, Audit, Purchase, Central Planning, Plant Operations
Key Interaction
Internal - Purchase, SSC, Taxation, Accounts, IT, Audit & Plant Operations
External - OPC management (owners & senior employees), external audit firms, transporters, vendors for support services & consumables
Qualifications
Essential
Graduate in Commerce
Desired
- Post Graduate in Commerce
- Inter CA / ICWA / Inter qualified or Part time MBA (Finance)
Previous Experience
Essential
For Executive-I level – 1 to 3 years in Commercial / Purchase function (manufacturing sector)
Desired
- Experience in accounts / taxation
Functional Competencies
Working knowledge of GST
- Conversant with Excel, Word, ERP Software
- Knowledge of Audit, Commercials & Supply Chain
- Ability to interact with third party manufacturers & handle their queries
Behavioral Competencies
Communication skills (written and verbal) for coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Additional Requirements
Familiar with ERP Software
- Open to travel across India
- Basic knowledge in SAP is essential
