Job Purpose

Assist the Manager-Planning in executing the production plans in the given constraints. Also, have close co-ordination with plants to ensure daily plan delivery pro-rata and with purchase to ensure that all required input materials are available at the time of production
- Coordination with Marketing, Technology, Purchase, JVC & Manufacturing to ensure New product launch timelines
- Manage the formulation and SKU introduction related checks to ensure timely New product launch
- Monitor the Production Planning for the inhouse produced products
- Plan for the production at an FN and Future 3 months' level
- Maintain inventory at an agreed level at overall and at SKU levels
- Keep plan changes within the acceptable limits so as to limit impact on RM/ PM plans
- Provide visibility on plan vs actual to the NP team
- Ensure compliance as per the production plan

Job Responsibilities

Product Launch

Coordination with Marketing, Technology, Purchase, JVC & Manufacturing to ensure New product launch timelines
- Manage the formulation and SKU introduction related checks to ensure timely New product launch

Perform month & future level demand pegging at different Manufacturing locations for New products

Coordinate with Manufacturing and Purchase team to ensure production plan completion

Production Planning
- Modify the plan on the first day of the Fortnight and provide the same to the plants for production
- Modify the future plan for 3 months within 24 hours of the file being shared by the central planning team
- Monitor the RM/ PM coverage and follow up with the purchase to ensure the plan completion
- Prioritize production as per the market requirement
- Plan inventory of the products as per the agreed norms
- Maintain plan changes to minimum possible extent so as to not impact the RM/ PM plans or inventory
- Facilitate delivery of non-inventoried items and Direct Sales orders

Production Execution

Interact with the plant daily on the schedule of production for the fortnight and resolve issues, if any, along with the concerns (TF, Plant planning, PM/RM purchase etc.)

Collaborate for the variances and discuss with RM, PM and the production teams to ascertain the issues that impacted the plan completion

MIS Preparation
- Circulate the Plan vs. Actual report on a daily basis to give the visibility of the production compliance to the NP team

Other Areas
- Review Slow moving and non moving stocks and give consumption plan
- Identification and implementation of development projects for automation, avoiding NVA and various other developmental activities
