Salary ranging from $149,739 to $173,174pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Your role
This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the operations of the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) in both the Sydney CBD and Parramatta.
As Executive Officer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping strategic initiatives and driving service excellence across a high-profile jurisdiction.
What you’ll do
As part of the Superior Courts team, you will lead the operations of the IRC, manage resources, budgets and service delivery. You will also:
Lead and develop the registry team, with a proactive approach to issues management and a strong focus on performance improvement.
Oversee critical projects and contribute to strategic initiatives, including analysing operational data and providing high-level advice to the President of the IRC and Executive Director, Superior Courts.
Prepare and manage high-level communications, including briefings, reports, submissions, and notes.
Act as the primary point of contact for the IRC, liaising with stakeholders and coordinating responses to meet critical deadlines.
Implement, monitor, and report on strategic, operational, and project plans to support informed decision-making.
Research and prepare strategic advice and reports on complex policy, planning, and operational matters.
Lead or contribute to projects aligned with organisational objectives, including the development and refinement of administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes.
What we’re looking for
You are a highly organised and forward-thinking professional with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning. You also have:
Proven leadership in managing complex operations within a service delivery environment.
Strong strategic thinking and policy development capabilities.
Exceptional written communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and provide timely, relevant advice.
Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
