The Mental Health Services at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) are looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic After-Hours Nurse Manager to join the team.

Position Classification: Nurse Manager Grade 3
Remuneration: $2,676.60 - $2,726.30 per week

What you'll be doing
The incumbent in this position is accountable for the operational management of the Macquarie Hospital after hours.
The roles and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Access and patient flow management
Management of staffing resources
Oversight of clinical management issues
Management of incidents and complaints
Liaison and co-operation with the After Hours Nurse Managers – across Mental Health Drug and ******* Services
Liaison and co-operation with Macquarie Hospital Executive on Call
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
Extensive post-graduate experience in the management of and leadership in mental health clinical service delivery.
Relevant post-graduate management qualification, working towards same or extensive equivalent professional experience.
Proven commitment to the principles and practices of consumer collaboration and working in a Multidisciplinary Teams that promote a recovery framework.
