Job Description
The Executive Secretariat Officer plays a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative and secretarial support to the National Executive of RSL Australia. Key responsibilities include managing workflow, correspondence, and supporting the National Board and associated National Committees.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 4 years' experience as a Secretariat Officer or similar
Proven minute-taking skills and knowledge of MS Office and AI programs
Experience with Board Effect software or similar
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and strategic support to senior executives and the National Board
Act as Secretary for the National Board and other National Committees
Contribute to effective communication between the Executive and stakeholders
Manage office correspondence and assist with key projects
Requirements:
Highly collaborative and inclusive team player
Ability to multitask and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
Desirable experience in the Not-for-Profit sector and understanding of Board governance requirements
