Horton, Oberrecht & Kirkpatrick, a civil defense law firm, is seeking a motivated, self-sufficient, experienced civil litigation Paralegal with at least five years of civil litigation experience for its Orange County office located in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who requires little supervision, has thorough knowledge of the reviewing and summarizing of medical records, issuing subpoenas for records, and assisting with trial preparation. Hybrid schedule available.

Skills/Qualifications required:
• 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience preferred
• Experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and document production
• Experience in preparing comprehensive medical chronologies and Howell analysis
• Computer skills and typing 60+ wpm
• Strong skills editing and finalizing written documents
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work product
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced work environment
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved institution
