Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Screen Printer with ATLEAST 2 YEARS of on press experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed designs on various substrates, ensuring precision and consistency. The Screen Printer will collaborate with designers and production staff to bring innovative visual concepts to life, utilizing a range of graphic design and printing techniques.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate screen printing equipment to produce designs on apparel, promotional items, or other materials
Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing, ensuring color accuracy and quality standards are met
Mix inks and troubleshoot printing issues to maintain production efficiency
Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to design specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with graphic designers to understand design requirements and provide input on print feasibility
Qualifications
Proven experience with screen printing processes and equipment operation
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and After Effects although not required but will be a definite asset
Excellent attitude to learn new skills and grow with the company
Strong attention to detail with excellent color matching skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and innovation
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Strong problem solving ability and mechanical/handy aptitude
