Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Law Lawyer with 2 - 5 years of experience in British Columbia to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing legal counsel to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of professionals and represent clients in both negotiation and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support issues, and property division.
Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients regarding family law issues.
Draft and review legal documents, including divorce applications, financial statements, separation agreements, and court submissions.
Manage a caseload effectively and ensure clients are kept informed throughout the legal process.
Attend court hearings and mediation sessions, advocating for clients' best interests.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of legal work.
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law.
Strong understanding of family law statutes, procedures, and precedents.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Compassionate, client-focused approach to legal practice.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
