The Role
As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys and clients, managing cases from inception to resolution. Your responsibilities will include:
• Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Managing case files and tracking deadlines.
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Preparing trial exhibits and coordinating witness schedules.
• Conducting legal research and summarizing findings.
• Supporting attorneys in court as needed.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who has:
• 2+ years of family law experience (Indiana experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of state and local family law rules and procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• A client-focused attitude with a high degree of professionalism.
