Our client is a highly ambitious, leading national law firm, looking for a standout player in the Leeds market to take the lead, working with their London, Manchester and Leeds offices to offer a standout service to clients. You will be known as a personality and an expert in the local market (with a national reputation) acting for high-net-worth clients on high value disputes. You will embrace resolution as an alternative and conciliatory route to resolve differences. Your experience might cover offshore assets, pensions disputes to include trust and company structures and complex children disputes.

You must be technically excellent, and someone who can lead by example, ambitious and determined. We will consider a team hire. Your experience will also cover pre and post marital agreements.

ROLE
• Take the helm of the Family Law department at a prominent national law firm, focusing on driving growth and excellence within the Leeds market while collaborating with their established teams in London and Manchester.
• Be a distinguished leader in the local market with a rising national reputation, providing expert legal services to high-net-worth individuals on high-stakes, complex disputes.
• Handle a diverse range of challenging cases including offshore assets, pension conflicts, trust and corporate structures, and multifaceted children-related issues.
• Promote and implement alternative dispute resolution strategies, offering innovative and conciliatory approaches to resolve sensitive family matters.
• Oversee a broad caseload, from pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements to intricate financial settlements, while spearheading the strategic growth of the Family Law team across multiple offices.
• Inspire and lead your department by showcasing unparalleled technical skill and a passion for achieving exceptional results.

REQUIREMENTS
• A recognised family law expert with a strong reputation in the Leeds market, capable of managing high-profile, high-value disputes.
• Proven experience handling complex financial cases including offshore assets, pension disputes, trusts and company structures.
• Strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution, with a focus on achieving conciliatory outcomes for clients.
• Expertise in pre- and post-marital agreements and in managing intricate children-related disputes.
• A natural leader with the ability to inspire and mentor a team, while being highly ambitious and growth-driven.
• Comfortable working with high-net-worth clients and high-profile cases, maintaining discretion and delivering exceptional results.
