Job Description
The role of Manager-Accounting will oversee monthly book closing as per the laws
This role will be based out of Jaipur, Rajasthan and will report to Director-Finance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Monthly closing of book of accounts
Reporting to external stakeholders, day to day book accounting;
Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
Audits accounts to ensure compliance with regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
Drives automation and optimization required to adhere to reporting standards
Adheres to overall process timelines for delivery while ensuring all sub- processes meet execution standards
Anticipates and solves for problems and blockers before they arise
Understands interrelationships of metrics and predicts how they will behave in different scenarios.
Drives analytical output by guiding and coordinating with analysts.
Candidate Profile
Proven work experience in a similar role for 4-7 years
Professional qualification - CA
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and finalisation of books
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Good communication skills
Experience in Ecommerce/Retail Industry is preferred
Experience using financial software (SAP, TALLY, ERP
