Samespace is looking for a smart, passionate and ambitious Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team.
What you have:
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance preferably with an International firm.
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of consolidation, intercompany transactions, and compliance within US GAAP accounting standards.
• Proficiency in working with Tally Prime and Google Suite applications.

Your Role:
• Prepare and post various accounting entries on our ERP system.
• Ensuring timely payment of bills & contracts and filing returns of statutory taxes.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, record revenue and collections, and actively work towards reducing outstanding receivables.
• Manage foreign transactions and work closely with transfer pricing consultants.
• Manage payroll functions, including EPF.
• Actively engage in month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliation.
• Provide support to the finance team on ad hoc tasks that may be assigned.
