Job Summary
Position shall be responsible for overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting. Must be within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Boston, MA.
Duties
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records, including general ledger, payroll and tax records.
Ensure the company’s accounting practices and financial reporting comply with relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements (Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.).
Manage flow of payments to suppliers (accounts payable) and the collection of payments from customers (accounts receivable).
Reconcile financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist in developing and managing company budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Work with executives to update and maintain a model of financial projections
Assist in preparing financial statements for the Board of Director
Regularly communicate with the CFO, CEO and other executives to provide financial updates and recommendations.
Skills
Strong expertise in financial analysis, technical accounting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software applications for effective management of financial data.
Solid understanding of account reconciliation processes and accounts payable management.
Knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting financial information clearly.
Ability to think critically and solve problems related to financial operations efficiently.
