Job Description
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:
Acting as a true business partner, influencing senior stakeholders, and promoting a performance-driven culture through financial understanding
Translating complex data into clear, compelling insight to support decisions, challenge assumptions, and spark debate
Interpreting monthly financials, KPIs, and trends to highlight opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform action
Supporting the development of business plans and forecasts, enabling strategic decision-making insights by analysing financial performance, spotting market trends and being able to bring this data to life and tell a story to influence and impact decisions
Identifying and driving initiatives that improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency
Championing change and continuous improvement across commercial and financial processes
Requirements to be successful in the role of Finance Business Partner:
A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 2–3 years+ post-qualification experience or QBE with relevant exposure
Proven business partnering skills & comfortable challenging senior leaders and influencing decisions
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to spot what truly drives performance
Confidence in turning numbers into a narrative through excellent communication and storytelling skills
Solid grounding in management accounts and financial reporting, with a keen focus on action and outcomes
