Finance & Controlling Manager Oceania

We are looking for a Finance & Controlling Manager Oceania to join our finance team located in Sydney, Australia.
Main tasks:
Responsible for the sub-region Finance & Controlling function, responsible for local IT management, Oceania NPM representative, Compliance delegate, Tier 1 legal support, Company Director and Company Secretary.
Overriding goal to achieve local, regional and group financial and reporting targets within the framework of local regulatory and accounting practices.
Also ensures that the appropriate controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets and to provide the Oceania LT with accurate and timely advice, guidance and reports in relation to the financial and business aspects of the company.
Develops and maintains strategies to meet the operating profit targets whilst ensuring corporate and legal compliance in accordance with the organisations Code of Conduct.
The CFO will provide financial and strategic advice to the local board of Directors and be responsible for managing the corporate compliance function, organising board meetings and lodging appropriate documents with ASIC. The CFO is the Public Officer of the company and is responsible for the lodgement and payment of all company taxes.
The role will also act as the authorised compliance delegate for Australia.
In addition to the Division-B responsibilities the role is also responsible for five Division-Z legal entities, a NZ entity and provides in-country support to the Australian Division CVS entity.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 years in Finance in a corporate environment preferably within a multinational company, from manufacturing, or supply chain or trading industry.
University degree.
Professional English.
Professionally qualified accountant, i.e., CA or CPA.
Strong analytical mindset, superior numeracy skills & proven data analysis skills.
Communication and coordination skills at all levels.
Strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of Jet Reporting and Power BI will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Navision will be an advantage.
