Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entirety of import and export operations conducted under Letter of Credit (LC) agreements.
• Act as the key liaison for the closure of Bank Realization Certificates (BRC) with various banking institutions and regulatory bodies such as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
• Maintain meticulous daily accounting records using the latest version of Tally Prime, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular ledger reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Tally software, including comprehensive ledger management, voucher entry, reconciliation functionalities, while also exhibiting adeptness in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Uphold a stringent commitment to regulatory compliance, particularly with regard to Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, ensuring all transactions are executed in accordance with statutory requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in a finance-related role, preferably within the import/export sector.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of import/export procedures, LC agreements, and associated documentation.
• Advanced skills in Tally accounting software, with a proven track record of effectively managing complex financial transactions and ledger reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
• Sound understanding of TDS and GST compliance regulations, with the ability to ensure adherence to relevant statutory requirements
