The Opportunity
We are now seeking a Finance Graduate to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, at our North Sydney NSW office location with working from home flexibility.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner NSW and working closely with our experienced team, you will assist in managing project costs efficiently, forecast and plan finances effectively, mitigate financial risks associated with projects, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and contribute to strategic decision-making that enhances DTI’s financial performance.
Responsibilities Include:
Reconcile purchase orders, requisitions, payment transactions and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and send invoices to customers, track receivables, and follow up on overdue accounts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in Joint Venture recharge claim preparation
Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and restrict access to sensitive data
About You
Completed Tertiary Finance studies
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (SAP)
Experience in administrative tasks such as accounts payable, reconciliation, account audits, purchase orders, and financial reporting is highly regarded
Ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders / team members
Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume workload
