This is an opportunity to join the Air Missile & Defense Capability (AMDC) and the Patriot Missile Support Center (PMSC) programs within the United States. The desired candidate will join the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Mission Area teams as a Senior Supervisor, Program Cost Controls (M3).
You will work independently and on several different program issues concurrently, in a fast-paced environment. Candidate will work with lead engineers and other cross functional organizations. The individual should be dedicated to continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the organization.
This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done at the Tewksbury, MA or Huntsville, AL locations. For any business travel the teams are currently based in Huntsville, AL.
What You Wil Do
Supervise analysts and provide Earned Value and Contract guidance on both programs
Prepare and support monthly & quarterly financial deliverables (CDRLs, VARs, LREs, EACs, Review packages, etc)
Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are performed within contract agreed-upon parameters
Cost and schedule monitoring, monthly Earned Value reporting
Perform detailed financial analysis for both total CBT and functional area level cost elements to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions
Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking to ensure adequate funding is available
Utilize & share knowledge of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program teams
Additional responsibilities will include supporting monthly forecast process, proposal efforts and tracking books as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field & 5 years of relevant professional working experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant professional working experience
Experience with EVMS, Program Controls (Cost/Schedule) and/or EAC Process
Experience with SAP APEX EV, PRISM, RPlan and/or Business Warehouse
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications we Prefer
Program startup/baselining experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. Vlookups, pivot tables)
Must be independent and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
Strong technical knowledge of finance and program control, strong problem-solving skills and have good communication skills
Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve
Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
