We are set to raise our third fund and are looking to expand our team. We are looking to hire a team member who is highly motivated and extremely passionate about startups. Ideally this individual has been associated with the ecosystem for sometime.
Key Responsibilities
a. Compliances and Reporting:
I. Compliance and quality reporting across various statutory bodies such as SEBI, RBI, and other such bodies for fund documents and statutory laws, rules, process, etc
II. Quality investor reporting and compliances on an on-going basis
III. Compliance with any legal documentation executed by the fund/fund manager
IV. Compliance with statutory laws such as IT/GST etc
b. Statutory accounts, company law, and other legal compliances
I. Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial accounts, transaction processing, reconciliations, and operating processes and policies
II. Liaise with multiple stakeholders including bankers, fund accountants, valuers, auditors, trustee, and ecosystem partners
III. Compliance with statutory laws, including payment of statutory dues, filing reports, etc
c. Others
I. Deal support to the investment team as required in closing a deal, coordinating with internal stakeholders, entrepreneurs, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
II. Liaise and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including bankers, fund accountants, valuers, auditors, trustee, external service providers, and ecosystem partners.
III. Lead and enable technology implementation within the organization.
What we expect
IV. Chartered accountant with prior operations experience.
V. Aware of various statutory laws and a flair for legal compliances
VI. Independent oversight of operations
VII. Proactive, attention to details and process-oriented
VIII. Working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft suite is necessary. Prior experience of implementing productivity tools is an additional plus. High intellectual curiosity – A hunger for information, rapidly processing the information and applying that to different scenarios.
