Finance Manager

Morae Global seeks to find the best and the brightest people – those who understand what it takes to deliver top quality solutions for our clients. We are currently seeking finance manager for our corporate finance team in Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

· Is responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly closure, reporting and financial statements as per US GAAP.

· Manages the intercompany transactions between the India and the rest of the Group, resolves disputes and makes suggestions for the improvement and scalability of the process.

· Preparation of statutory financial statements in local GAAPs as appropriate.

· Is the point of contact for external auditors for India and the implementation of their recommendations.

· Ensure cost center(department) accounting for all expenses-AP, depreciation, recurring expenses, intangible and prepaid expenses.

· Perform monthly P&L analysis, compare with plan and report variance

· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.

· Assist in preparing tax filings-India, US, UK, Swiss.

· Is responsible for the compliance to all statutory and tax obligations.

· Identifies tax efficiency opportunities and makes use of national tax incentives.

· Implements tax structuring initiatives as & when required.

· Accurate and timely monthly financial close including accounting, tax, and government compliance.

· Overseeing all entity incorporation, bank relationships, accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.

· Ensuring Smooth payroll process.

· Compliance with respect to Special Economic Zones (SEZs), STPI, Customs regulations, filings (Softex/MPR/QPR/TPR/APR), and FEMA (W.r.t Inward remittances) and other associated government Schemes.

· Treasury management, and cash flow management.

· Strong understanding of US GAAP and Indian GAAP.

· Hands-on with Excel and accounting tools.

· Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to lead teams.

· Strong inter-personal skills and thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment, adapts easily to change.

Skills and Experience:

· University Degree in Accounting & Management, or any other accounting qualification.

· Finance / Accounting major and certified

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience and previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role.

· Fluent in English, both verbal and written to meet business needs.

· NetSuite systems experience strongly preferred

· 6+ years in professional accounting services or general accounting

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
