Role and Responsibilities of the Software Developer:
Development of in-house finance and accounting Software for Financial management.
Designing and testing software that fulfills the various accounting requirements like maintaining project chart of accounts, tracing of project cost to budgets and transferring project cost among projects etc. in consultation with accounting and finance units of BBNL.
Identify and use best financial project management software tools and methods, practices etc. to enable effective and efficient management of finance and accounting of various projects of BBNL.
Integrate the project accounting software package so developed with the existing or new financial accounting package of BBNL.
Enter the existing project related data into the new software and deliver the project accounting system up to date.
Skills :
Desired Skills & Experience
Relevant Experience in development of Finance and accounting software for project management.
Well versed with the programing languages like Java, visual basic, C , ORACLE/ My SQL or any other RDBMS and XML & HTML5 etc.
tools as well a proprietary tools like Primavera and MS Project
Well versed with Tally-ERP Accounting package.
Qualifications :
Essential Criteria
BE/B.Tech/MCA in IT or Computer Science
Experience in customizing project accounting and / or Finance and Accounting Software tools / packages
Experience :
Min 4 years of experience of software development and / or integration
Others :
The person shall be responsible for developing and integrating a new project accounting software package capable of maintaining detailed record of capital cost, operations & maintenance cost, revenues, etc. The candidate is expected to be primarily responsible for applying project accounting systems and principles for developing software for financial business application related to various project accounting processes, documentation, reporting of project wise expenditure, booking of project wise revenue etc.
