Role Summary : This individual is responsible at Hydro India regional level to support in the monthly and quarterly level of project accounting financial closing, reporting and analysis of the project balance sheet in US GAAP, managing the accounting and reporting process of the various reserves and support during internal and external audits

Roles and Responsibilities
• Closing & Reporting: Ensure timely & Accurate closing of books of accounts both for US GAAP & Statutory.
• Preparation/Review of dedicated balance sheet account reconciliations
• Review and Monitor Balance-Sheet accounts on regular basis including project accounts. Balance sheet deep dive and financial closing package “FRP on dedicated areas
• Statutory Audits: Preparing financials (PBC along with Schedule), Review and Submission within defined timeline
• Support at quarterly revenue recognition cut-off process with Regional OTR finance and supply chain
• Support at quarterly project balance sheet review process, PCC project balance sheet reviews and clean-up of aged items, LD reviews upon need
• Support at ad-hoc projects, initiatives
• Managing internal ,external audits , Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing, SOX Audits etc
• Monitoring, accounting and reporting process of the various reserves (CECL, BDR, Inventory), supporting AR and cash application process
• Understand Business/Finance related processes & procedures and support Controller for any further improvement/implementation.
• Qualifications/Requirements:
• CA/ICWA with 4-5 years of experience in the area of either project controlling or controllership preferably in an engineering industry dealing into large EPC business
• Can demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP & IND AS project accounting
• Ability work in a strongly multicultural environment with numerous locations and time zones
