At Tait Communications, we are committed to delivering critical communications networks for public safety, transportation and utility customers around the world. Our global Finance team is seeking a highly skilled Tax And Treasury Accountant to join our ranks in Christchurch, New Zealand.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of tax compliance and treasury to ensure appropriate risk management. Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of GST, NRWT and FBT returns for the New Zealand Tait entities
Working with external advisors for the preparation of income tax returns for the New Zealand and overseas Tait entities
Providing tax advice as required to the wider Finance team and Regional Financial Controllers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have 3+ years of experience in a similar position either in Big or Mid-Tier accounting firms with large sized clients, or commercial experience in a tax or treasury role. You will also possess good technical skills and knowledge of NZ tax, and advanced Microsoft and Excel skills.
