Job Title: Financial Accountant – Fixed Assets & Grants
Location: 1201 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, FL 33605
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 4 PM
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Mandatory).
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, specifically in fixed assets and grants.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and audit schedules.
• Maintain and update fixed asset records, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Reconcile fixed asset accounting with the general ledger and assist with audits.
• Prepare financial reports, including National Transit Database annual financial reports.
• Manage grant accounting functions, including cash requests and financial reporting.
• Ensure grant compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Assist with budget tracking, financial analysis, and special projects as needed.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and grant management.
• Experience with financial reporting and audit preparation.
• Proficiency in GAAP and accounting software.
