Group Financial Accountant

We're currently partnered with a well known High Street retail business based in Central London who are actively looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team. A great opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently Qualified within practice or qualified in Industry and wants to join a reputable brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Group Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing and presenting financial reports, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and present the monthly Group balance sheet pack to the Group Financial Reporting Manager (GFRM), Head of Commercial Finance, Finance Director (FD), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Deliver high-quality statutory financial statements for the Group, UK subsidiaries and other relevant entities.
Provide accurate and timely financial data and insights to senior stakeholders.
Financial Control & Compliance
Maintain and enforce financial control frameworks to ensure compliance.
Oversee month-end processes, including accounting entries for East Heritage, intercompany settlements, and turnover certificates.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial packs for international subsidiaries, coordinating with outsourced providers and posting trial balances in multiple currencies.
Collaborate with the International Commercial Finance Manager to review overseas subsidiary reports and ensure compliance with Group accounting policies.
Process Improvement & Strategic Projects
Continuously enhance existing financial processes to drive efficiency and quality.
Develop and maintain a robust process for monitoring balance sheet reconciliations across the wider finance team.
Represent Group Finance in strategic projects, such as new store openings, entity setups, and business channel expansions.
