Senior Financial Accountant - India
The AB Sciex FSSC is expanding responsibilities by taking over tasks of other departments and as part of this process we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant for the GL Team.
The scope of the job area will include related areas of Accounting, Reporting, Reviewing and Reconciliations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Cost / Inventory
• Reviewing Inventory Movements – PPV, local parts purchases, returns and clearing accounts
• Reserves
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Non Standard Part Setup for Instrument Orders
Fixed Assets
• Consignment, Rental and general Asset management
• Amortization and Depreciation
• Setting up New assets
• Maintaining Reports and Follow Up
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
General
• Accruals, Reclass, PPE
• Expense Review
• Statistics, Analyzing, Reporting
• CCCS Reclass ( cross charge FSE)
• Month end tasks – reports opening and closing S/L
• Support Senior Cost Accountant
• Assisting in Audits, BSR and Stock counts
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Accounting Degree Finance (combined with longer and profound accounting trajectory: 3-4 years’ experience)
• Good understanding of internal control concepts
• Practical knowledge of business processes, ERP systems and financial reporting systems.
• Proficiency in English is essential, written and verbal
• Experience in working in international matrix organization; preferably SSC experience
• Knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
• Customer service oriented (internal and external)
• Ongoing training and self-improvement are essential with a view to improve processes through a continuous improvement point of view
