Weare looking for a skilled financial accountant and analyst tomaintain our financial records, including purchases, sales,receipts andpayments.
Jobduties include working closely with Accounting team to create andanalyse financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance,process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and taxpayments. Our ideal candidate holds a Commerce degree and isfamiliar with accounting software packages, like Zoho, TallyERP.
Ultimately,the responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-dayfinancial transactions of ourcompany.

• Foundationaccounts setup for new and upcomingventures.
• Completeall historic accountingrecords.
SCENARIOEnvironment-Startup - You will be working ina startupenvironment.
Fresh/ Established- You are the firstperson in the accounts team, and will be expected to set up thedepartment.
AREAOFRESPONSIBILITIES
PLANNING
• Developsa system to account for financial transactions by establishing achart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies andprocedures.
• Planaccounts strategy for all the group companies andunits.
BOOKKEEPING
• Maintainshistorical records by filingdocuments.
• Maintainan accurate record of financialtransactions.
• Maintainsrecords of financial transactions by establishing accounts; postingtransactions; ensuring legal requirementscompliance.
• Maintainssubsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and postingtransactions.
• Maintain- Journal Vouchers, Ledger, Cashbook, Trading Account, P&LAccount, and BalanceSheet.
• Reconciliationof accounts - Bank, and accountreconciliation.
• Handlepayroll in a timelymanner
REPORTING
• Preparesfinancial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising accountinformation andtrends.
• Monitorany variances from the projectedbudget.
• Increaseproductivity by developing automated reporting/forecastingtools.
COORDINATION
• Coordinationwith CA for filing of returns andaudits.
• Conductingdaily bankingactivities
• Contributesto team effort by accomplishing related results asneeded.
COMPLIANCE
• Complieswith central, state, and local legal requirements by studyingrequirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports;advising management on neededactions.
ADDITIONALSKILL SET (FinancialPlanner)
• Experiencedin handling international purchase andsales.
• Advisingon investment activities and provide strategies that the companyshouldtake
• Analyzecosts, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and thecompany s actual performance compared to the businessplans.
Requirements
• Yearsof Relevant Experience-5+
• Education& Work experience- Weprioritize skills over degrees but Bachelor s degree in accounting,finance, or relatedfield.
• Softwareand Applications- MicrosoftExcel- High Level Proficiency, Quickbooks, ZohoBooks, Tally ERP orotherapplications.
• Skills-Advanced Mathematical Skills, Strong fluency with Excel formulasand functions, Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Shouldhave experience in: Handlingaccounting in a Group company and multi-business scenario example,e-commerce, consulting, hospitality, investments andVC.
