Job Description -
As an entry-level Finance Accountant at our agency, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate accounting records. You will work closely with the finance team to assist in various financial tasks, including but not limited to budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance within the dynamic environment of a marketing agency.
Roles and Responsibilities -
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and sensitive information. Adhere to company policies and procedures to safeguard financial records and client information.
• Assist in monitoring budget variances and providing analysis to aid in decision-making processes.
• Assist in preparing client invoices and verifying billing accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely invoicing and collection.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.
• Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to provide financial support and analysis as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on financial objectives and priorities.
• Handle GST calculations, TDS deductions, and other taxation matters. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
Requirements -
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in work.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in finance/accounting preferred but not required.
