About this Role
This is an ideal role for a finance professional with roughly 3 year's experience. You do not need to be a qualified accountant, although you will have a good understanding of accountancy principles, audit processes, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities
• Managing and overseeing the organisation's month-end/Year-end financial processes Preparing and presenting monthly accounts.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, all balances are correct, and differences are investigated.
• Variance and trend analysis.
• Prepare and post key journals including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income/costs and etc.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting process.
• Support in the preparation of accurate monthly and quarterly report.
• Assisting in year-end statutory process.
• Managing payments process.
• Addressing any other financial compliance matters.
• Overseeing the company's compliance with tax legislation and regulations, including VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NIC.
• Other ad hoc projects as required by CFO, head of finance.
Skills & Requirements
• 3 years of experience working within a finance function with high volume transactions.
• Exposure to ERP systems with Xero being an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP accounting standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
