Reporting to the Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager, you will assist in the preparation of the monthly financial and management reports.
More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
Performing month end tasks including-:
Preparation and processing of Month End and Standing journals
Data Analysis
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Preparation of Financial and Management Reports for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain Asset Register and workflows in an accurate and timely manner
Preparation of FBT return – Motor Vehicles, maintaining appropriate records, including logbooks throughout the year
Maintain the Motor Vehicle Lease Register, ensuring compliance with AASB16
Adopt and promote a continuous improvement culture within the Finance and Admin Team
Provide support to the broader finance team including AR, AP & Cash management.
The successful candidate will have
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce and have CPA or CA qualifications (or progress towards).
Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience
A proactive approach to tackling challenges
Excellent organisational & time management skills to manage a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail
Superior Excel skills
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience with Pronto would be advantageous
